Portrait of Tamara Gibbons

Hi, I'm Tamara. I'm a licensed psychotherapist and President of Coast Counseling & Healing, a wellness practice serving residents in Florida and Delaware. I'm also an adjunct educator, providing clinical supervision for graduate-level clinicians.

I specialize in working with clients who choose therapy intentionally — people who are ready for depth, ready for honesty, and ready for meaningful change. Across my career I've supported many in healthcare, law, business, education, and caregiving: people who carry a great deal, often quietly.

Clients seek me out when they feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from the parts of themselves that once felt confident and creative. I help you slow down, understand your patterns, and develop practical, evidence-based tools that support long-term sustainability. I have seen remarkable transformations.

How I work

Warm, intentional, and practical

Clients describe my style as warm, intentional, and practical. I integrate evidence-based strategies with reflective conversation and a deep respect for each person's story. My work is spiritually inclusive and culturally responsive, honoring the full complexity of who you are.

Treatment is unique to every individual. I'm committed to helping you recognize your strengths and restore balance. Change is facilitated by listening to your concerns and creating a collaborative, customizable treatment plan and goals for care.

"A sense of aliveness comes from therapy, as the individual sees life with interest, imagination, creativity, hope and joy, rather than with dread, boredom, hate and bigotry." — Sharf
